Why the hell not? People act like it matters so much, yes it is okay to love your race, yes it is ok to love your culture, that isn't what's being argued. Cultures have died and been born all through history, hell their are ones we'll never even know about, but guess what? Humanity survived, it's just fine, in the sense that our species is still alive and kicking! All the cultures around now are amalgamations of smaller older ones, all these "races", amalgamations of smaller older ones, all these languages, amalgamations of smaller older ones. Humanity's entire social evolution is rich with genetic, cultural, and linguistic convergence and dispersal. What is there to be afraid of?

No, but to put things in perspective for you, I could be in Cologne in about two hours, and in Frankfurt in five. By car.
I've visited Germany on many occasions, and some of their neighbourhoods can be pretty rough.



If you look like a Briton, talk like a Briton, live like a Briton and your family has been in Britain for a few centuries, then you can be British. The point here is that these people are from the other side of the world. They do not look like us, they do not talk like us, they do not believe in the things we believe in, they do not share our history or our heritage and they often just form their own communities within our countries. They're not part of our nations even if they're legally citizens of our states.

So if someone is black and a descendant of the black community that existed in London in the 18th century, they're British in your eyes yes? I mean they'd have been there for a few centuries.

Agreed, though if all the races in the world stopped breeding with other races eventually we would all become a different species that may not even be able to interbreed. Yay, rise of the homos['Cuz we'd all be sub-species of the Homo Sapien Sapien, since we stopped breeding with each other completely we'd branch off... bah, theories, theories, they get weird]!

Sometimes, I do kind of wish that Europeans hadn't discovered the Americas for about 50,000 years or so. Then we would have different sapient species on a single planet.
