My girlfriend took this pic of me after I victoriously mastered opening beer on the hotel counter. Next holiday we'll take a bottle opener anyway.

Also, fun fact, this is the first pic I'm smiling in which I don't hate, mainly cause the smile is genuine rather than forced so doesn't look terrible. :lol:

Deserts just look sharp compared to the woodlands. That, and it's much easier to see the rank on the staff NCOs... Some days you second guess yourself when you give the proper greeting to a Gunnery Sergeant.

Was that a Gunnery Sergeant or a First Sergeant? Crap.

EDIT: And I was a little disinterested. I mean, we had this death-by-power point class on sexual assault and prevention, and then field day, meaning we had to clean the entire barracks all day long. Tomorrow morning is the inspection. Fuuuu
