For example, certain Roman coins from millennia ago are often sold relatively cheaply, due to a large quantity of them, despite their age. I myself own a Roman coin from 170 AD, however it is relatively common and not worth much money. On the other hand, a commemorative coin from the modern day may be worth more despite the fact it’s not as old.

So, out of interest, what is everybody’s oldest coin? Mine is a King Philip II Macedonian bronze coin from around 359 BCE. It’s low grade and pretty hard to see, but it’s rather cool nevertheless. How about you?
I'm a new collector, so I don't really have a really old one, but out of my 41 coins I have this 1966 Silver Romanian leu.

That sounds good. How long have you been collecting for? For me, I started in 2022 and have amassed about 400-500 coins in my collection.
