Looks super good, though.
Also, would it be necessary to lead my T-60c armour? Even without the lead, the pieces combined have over 1,000 rad resistance.

The Glowing Sea isn't all that difficult as long as you have at least two brain cells to rub together and aren't mutie scum.
Cool. I'm just worried about my meager Fusion Core supply (12-14, I forget the exact amount.) won't last me. But I suppose we'll see. Once I'm ready to depart I'll post what I'm bringing.

That's more than enough fusion cores to get throw the Glowing Sea. As long as you don't sprint you can make those last a very long time.

I leaded mine (T-60b, with an e torso) and still picked up a decent amount of radiation (none from foodstuffs, either—I installed the scrubbers on the helmet). But I also went standing around in a pool of radioactive God only fucking knows what, which set the Geiger counter right the hell off.

Do you do a lot of stuff that uses AP? Also, you don't use cores at all while fast travelling. I went and scouted around the south of the map before going into the Sea to find somewhere close I could fast travel to.

Uh, I try not to. VATS, I guess. I noticed the fast travelling thing, actually. I cleared out the Interchange Turnpike so I think I'll be fast travelling there.

I've never had 12 fusion cores at once.
Right now I have 10, which is the most I've ever had at a single point. I have 35 hours in so far.
Seriously, where the fuck are you guys getting all these cores!?

Transoxthraxia wrote:About to embark on my journey into the Glowing Sea. I'll be taking my BoS T60c Power Armour with me, but I'll need to lead it the fuck up, first. I'll also be wearing my Hazmat suit constantly. I have a metric fuckton of Rad-Away and Rad-X stored up since I don't usually use it too often, about thirty of Rad-Away and about fifty Rad-X stored. I'm bringing Valentine with me because I'm lazy and I don't want to bother equipping another follower with radiation protection.
As for Weapons, I'm going to be travelling light, storing the majority of my weaponry back at my old home in Sanctuary. I'll be taking a Minigun, my Fat Man, my trusty Sniper Rifle, Ripper as a sidearm. Since I don't really know what to expect to face there, does anybody have any suggestions as to what else I should bring?

I had 21 at one point. That was before I started wearing my power armour 24/7
One I found in a trashcan. Others I got from the BoS. Others I got from machines.
I tend to switch before they run out because the value of a fusion core doesn't depend on its charge. "Yes, trader, buy my 1% fusion cores!"
