I added an Arkona station to my pandora...so far I've heard a ton of folk-, pagan, and russian metal...but only one Arkona song...

Welcome to Pandora.

Honestly though Pandora's great for finding new stuff, but they lack a lot of great bands that just don't get the spotlight that often. I found a ton of great music off of youtube suggestions. A lot of the folk bands I listen to were bands I found exploring youtube. Most of them Russian. Edited just because I hate how single line posts look.

My "Viking Metal" station (found it a long time ago while browsing their genre options) plays Rammstein from time to time.

My "battle metal" one is 9/10 times right on the mark, sticks around Korpiklani, Sabaton, DragonForce, Nightwish, Helloween, some Alestorm and got ST. James and Coming Home by Avenged Sevenfold a few times. I for the life of me can not figure out why this station is more accurate to tastes.

Which station is that if I may ask?

I can't summarize how you know that if you've never heard them before...

Might be because I'm Swedish and the band comes from Sweden.

At least it isn't Spotify. "Here is are Digster playlists that only consists of mainstream music and us promoting other artists is practically non existent".

Though I think I've gotten decent suggestions before.

I know this is a painful question, but....What is the best nu metal-esque album?

My vote would go to White Pony by Deftones. It's labeled as alternative metal but it does have a fair amount of nu metal elements I'd say.

Anal Cunt - 40 More Reasons to Hate Us

Very good deathcore album featuring Fenriz on bass and Nocturno Culto on drum, with Satyr on guitar.

I didn't know what to say. But in all seriousness, Slipknot's self titled album is a good nu metal release.

Indestructible by Disturbed. They're new metal, right? Regardless, it's a good album.

Disturbed has one good album and a couple good songs per album. Slipknot has a couple good songs in every album but no fully good album. My opinion.

Slipknot - Vol 3: Subliminal Verses.

Might have a slight bias since it was one of the very first metal albums I heard back in the day along with Nightwish's Once and Metallica's Kill 'Em All :p

Indestructible is probably my second favorite in the genre.

This is not the place for such attempts at cheap laughs. Even though this thread often is a joke, that doesn't mean we've got a sense of humour.

There's a fair share of nu-metallisms on Twelve Foot Ninja's album, but that didn't stop me enjoying it - then again, there's a lot more than just that influence going on.
