Yeah.

It's a pretty good film, all told.

Bonus points for Nazi occultists.

I'm yet to watch Conquerors of Shamballa, although I've seen The Sacred Star of Milos. The latter was average at best. Speaking of things which are average at best, I've been watching Future Diary. It's watchable enough although I'm not exactly hooked. One thing that's bothering me, though... Why do people keep falling in love with Yukiteru? The guy's a whiny little bitch. He's like Shinji Ikari II. Which makes it all the more ironic that Akise looks almost exactly like Eva's Kaworu.

Eh, in the same sort of way you might have a crush on an IRL celebrity. I'm fond of joking that "you never forget your first bishie," which, for me was Zelgadis from Slayers. (Followed shortly thereafter by future Trunks from DBZ, Kenshin from Rurouni Kenshin, and Milliardo from Gundam Wing. :lol2: ) Can't say I've fantasized about any anime characters beyond "I really, really like this character" though.

Right now, let's just say I am very much appreciating and enjoying Gray's tendency to spontaneously strip in Fairy Tail, though. Especially the OAVs where they can get away with more shenanigans. XD

If I recall correctly, this was intentional so that the viewers can get more attached.

I tend to think that some of those animes are also deliberately designed to be attractive and to keep the public watching. And by the public I mean young pube / adolescent males. There seems to be a tendency for the strong female protagonist in sexy outfit, in a similar fashion like, say, the Underworld or Resident Evil Series. My guess is that they all attempt to connect to that deep desire to have a girlfriend like that. With that said we can also put the question in a broader perpspective: why do (young) men like strong women with guns (anime or otherwise) in movies / series so much?

Well, most anime fans ares older teen/adult(Mostly in their 20's and 30's) males, so of course the try to aim stuff like what you described at people.(Or they could just make ecchi/fanservice/harem trash whenever the production studios need a quick buck)

I'm pretty sure it's a lot of men across the ages who like women who can kick ass in fiction, but for reasoning... IDK.

A joke hopefully here. Though I've heard that 2ch actually takes it seriously. Considering their reaction to some frivolous things in Kannagi and K-on I'm starting to believe it's not a joke.

Oh no, the movie was a totally rushed story, the only reason it exists was because fans of FMA03 were mad about the ending(A problem FMAB doesn't have in the slightest).

The animation was fantastic though(But it's Studio Bones, so that's not a surprise).

This is the dark timeline Grantica of draconian evil.

The other one is filled with people who actually care about things other than power and oppression.
