Ouran Host Club is fun. Utterly and completely ridiculous, but fun. :lol2: I mean, it basically lampoons the everloving hell out of all the shoujo tropes!

Yep, Bones wasted money making Soul Eater Not when they could've been remaking Soul Eater to better follow the manga.

Seconded...no, wait: third.

However if you continue (to at least episode eight) you'll find reality stranger than fiction because...
John C. Lilly was a real person, he did conduct "experiments" with dolphins (and LSD at the same time). He did attempt to communicate with them through computer hypertext, and he did believe them to have a link to some cosmic extraterrestrial intelligence. The man was a capable physician, neuropsychologist, cybernetics expert, and technician of sorts before he apparently lost it.

SAO 2? Like the various arcs?

The second season. It's better than the first overall IMO.
And just anime like those three or general recs?

I thought Mahouka was pretty bad myself, wouldn't recommend it.

Yeah, I went through a phase of that at my first anime con. (Anime Expo 1999!) The trick is to get picky about what you purchase. For instance, I don't generally get posters or pencilboards or wallscrolls anymore, nor do I gobble up just about any Gundam model kit that crosses my path. These days it's mostly DVD/Blu-rays, animation cels, high-end figures, that sort of thing. (Speaking of which, I still have to get these two Slayers cels I have framed!)

Also, gotta be wary of knock-offs. (One reason most of my figure purchases nowadays come straight from the manufacturer! No second-guessing at conventions... plus it tends to be cheaper to just preorder the damned thing and know I'll get a legit one for sure than it is to try and hunt it down after it's sold out!)
