I haven't properly tried to draw much anything Fine Arts related since upper secondary school. Artes Mechanicae are other business.

Now's as good a time to pick it back up as any.
While I sit here playing dragon breeding games and doing absolutely nothing useless including not making any progress on various doodle requests...
Like most things, it tends to be more fun when you have friends along too.

Actual vectors or just "making bases by repainting stuff from the show/other people's stuff that's still done in pixels" that people call vectors?
I've always been crap at anything that isn't on paper anyway...

Some people do copy base images from a pixel format into a vector format, so that it can be used at any size (like scaling something up from small sketch/tattoo size to t-shirt/vinyl wall fathead thingy size), and I think that's where people started getting the term from. And then more people saw others calling their basing vectoring and picked it up. So while I understand how it's come to be used in that manner, there's a part of me that goes "nuuuuuu".
My dad gets the same way when we watch home improvement shows and the people get posts/beams or level/plum/flush mixed up. Except he yells at the teevee.
