There is a fifth dimension beyond that which is known to man. It is a dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity. It is the middle ground between light and shadow, between science and superstition, and it lies between the pit of man’s fears, and the summit of his knowledge. This is the dimension of imagination.

Wait wait wait, WHAT! Really? Awesome! Being in Utah finally brings benefits in terms of ponies! Who told you this wondrous news?

I think Twilight is popular in your state, she is the most popular pony.
However, Rainbow Dash is popular in New Hampshire. If girls and young women ran the fandom, Fluttershy would be the most popular and Derpy would be more popular than Rainbow Dash. Females like Derpy better than Rainbow Dash.
I got the information from BronyCon when they revealed the stats from the 2014 Herd Census.Equestican wrote:Nice bat pone just cuz

Well, that's interesting, very interesting. I think we Utahans like our studious ponies, which would be why Twi is so popular here. (Dang Mormons )

Only took me about 5 minutes to update. I'm on the Piaffe and my Pone is named Brightshine, should we run into eachother.

But the reference that I suggested. Ah well.
From the old thread:
Why do people keep wanting a spin-off of MLP:FiM with a predominantly male cast? I mean, one of the things that made MLP:FiM special, the one thing that actually drew people to the show in the first place was how well written it was with a predominantly female cast. I mean before MLP:FiM, shows for little girls were...well...let's be honest, vomit inducing. It was about as saccharine and gooey as you can get without wanting to commit Seppuku.
Lauren Faust saw the trend and saw how the show for girls weren't really addressing the real issues that girls face, while the show for boys were well...badass and they were addressing the issues that boys were facing. So Lauren Faust set forth to change that. She laid down the foundation for a show that'd not only address the issues that both boys and girls face, but it also included some badass fight scenes, relatable characters, and character dynamics that well...let's be honest, very well written. The ponies have their faults, they have their weaknesses, but that's why we love them so much. They weren't some flawless porcelain things that sat on the shelf waiting for Prince Charming. Kind of why I loved A Canterlot Wedding, where Cadance rescues Shining Armor instead of the other way around.
With all of that in mind, what on the gods' green earth could having a predominantly male cast add to an already awesome show?
