Doctor Who Screenplay: "The Library Closes"

I felt like sharing some of my writing with NationStates for once. I'll be releasing my first draft in serial format - ten pages at a time. A word to the wise: screenplays aren't necessarily the most verbose of works (e.g., it's common to see three sentences in a row begin with "he") -- the focus is on the dialogue, the story and its flow.

The story is of course a Doctor Who episode. I'm writing with the idea that Capaldi is The Doctor and Clara is the companion. There will be five parts. I hope you enjoy it and feel free to make comments. Thanks!

Wow, this is great! I can visualize it in my head just as well as a real episode. You've really captured the spirit of DW and the characters. I hope you continue writing!

wow, impressive that you wrote all this. how do u find the time to work on stuff like this and how are you such a good writer but not professional?

Thank you! Well, specifically in relation to Doctor Who, the show uses established writers popular in the BBC (i.e., Gatiss, Thompson, Whithouse). The chances of an unknown writer writing for Doctor Who is nil, so I don't have a problem with sharing a script with you. ;)

As for in general, my hope is to get involved in the business professionally in the next few years.
