Honestly, I'd consider a plush or two; but would definitely never buy a doll. A Fluttershy plush makes sense to me, and isn't comparatively worse to any other stuffed animals. An entire collection of plushies or dolls.... delves into creeper territory. To each his own, though.

Fan-made ones, that are really accurate, can be a bit expensive. I have seen some nice ones on Hot Topic and Think Geek.

Most of my pony toys are presents from Christmas or my Birthday, I don't have a lot of money to spend on toys.
