Kinda digging This Chemical Brothers song. Which I guess isn't totally surprising since my favorite movie soundtrack (Or 2nd favorite) is by them.

This needs to be put in a time capsule
For the people of the far future to listen to and remember us by...

"When you look at me from your own century,
I may seem to be strange archeology

But when the winds blow from this direction
You may sense me there in your reflection

I think I feel you, but I will never know
As the swallows leave, and the children grow

I wanted to live forever, the same as you will too

As I think of you from this dark century
It will always be with generosity

That we both may share the hope in hearing
That we're not just spirits disappearing"

Woah. Amazing emotions. I feel an existential crisis coming on :( :p

I've been really getting into grunge again.... so many memories. (even if I am only18).

Still get pissed when my peers who claim "to love grunge" (because it's apparently hip to wear Nirvana shirts) can't name any grunge band other than Nirvana

I decided to search whether or not John Wayne was a nazi, like that MDC song said. Results inconclusive.

I feel like I'm forgetting some 2015 albums I wanted to listen to...

....

.......

What is the best way to search what albums you've rated in 2015 on RYM?

Edit: never mind, figured it out.

...so...that search bar on RYM above your music section, that lets you search your music... PLEASE tell me this is something new and that I haven't missed it this whole time...
It's been a week or two since I've been on there, and over a month since I've really looked at the site that much.

Corrian wrote:Okay, so a follow up post...Hmm, nothing seems to have amazed me so far this year.... . This is unusual for me, so clearly I need to listen to more.

This is what I've listened to this year

You rated the Kendrick album higher than I expected you to. :p

As for me, 2015 is setting up to be a great year: two albums I've rated 5 stars, three 4.5 stars and some really good 4 star albums, 15-17 albums (maybe more once I update myself on what's come out the last couple months) out that I wanna listen to, most of which I'm excited about, and at least a dozen more potential releases I'm interested in. :D
Then there's been five albums that I absolutely hated, compared to last year's none (lot of meh albums, one horrible, just nothing I found unlistenable)...but eh.

I just realized that my Rush - Caress of Steel vinyl is of original pressing. Woop!
It makes it the oldest album in my collection. Sure, Hurriganes - Roadrunner was released one year earlier but it's on CD and CDs didn't exist back in '74 so there's that.

Money is a surprisingly easy song to play on bass once you get into the groove of it.

If you're talking about the Pink Floyd song, I concur. Very easy once you're used to it and you feel kind of badass when you play it, or at least I do. :p
