I saw Equestria Girls for the first time today on The Hub. I thought the movies concept was all in all stupid, and I think Twilight is far too dignified and powerful a character to present with a challenge like becoming essentially prom queen, and I felt like the episode was making a mistake in glorifying popularity.

That said, I loved it! It was best for the small things, all of the really cute and funny moments made the whole thing worthwhile (Pinkie cleaning the gym floor with her head for example).

On a final negative note, seeing Snips and Snails not only appear in this movie but take a major role, made me want to throw tomatoes at my Television

Occasionally friendship is just fucking obnoxious which is why I minimize my number of friends to only the most interesting and likable people I know, I do have a shitload of positive aquaintances whom I talk with often, but thats not the same as a friend.

I think Luna's normal color is a bit dark for a skin tone compared to the others. Big Mac was lightened up too, as I recall.
