Wonder if there's any fanfics addressing the notion yet? (And whether any of them are any good.) Though at the moment we don't have conclusive proof that alicorns are truly immortal, or even if ALL alicorns are. Sure, Celestia and Luna have been around for at least 1,000 years, but what about Cadence? She was shown in Twilight's flashback in the wedding episode very clearly younger than her present self- so is she in the same class as the sisters and simply hadn't hit her prime yet, or does that mean she'll age like any other pony?
