Play the Star Wars RPG and make your own character!

That said... Obi-Wan is suicidal, Luke is the suck, Anikin/Vader is emo, Padme can't act, Leia has incest fantasies, Han changed his mind and didn't shoot first, and C-3P0 is a whiner.
This leaves us with only R2-D2 as awesome... after all, he's the only one that actually knew WTF was going on the whole time! :D

Would it be too much of a stretch to say that the Cantina Band is one character?

Han Solo wins hands down on pure awesomeness. (Well, that is, barring the Expanded Unithingy novels, of course).
In the EU, Talon Karrde and Mara Jade had some potential... but it's gone wasted.

Best Star Wars Character?

Wedge Antillies.

a minor character that survived Three Star Wars movies without serious Injuries.

Sure, R2D2 and C3P-O survived all 6... but C3P-O was blown up in Episode 5, and R2D2 was shot in Episodes 4 and 6.

Wedge, not only survived ONE Death Star, but TWO. and he did it without using 'The Force' or without the "Main Character Glow". Yep... for my money, I say Wedge Antillies is the Best Star Wars Character.
on the other hand... I have another set of fingers.

Unscramble these words...1) PNEIS. 2)HTIELR 3) NGGERI 4) BUTTSXE
1) SPINE. 2) LITHER 3)GINGER 4)SUBTEXT

That's actually a good point. Wedge is pretty awesome.

I miss Biggs Darklighter. :(

In short, "fascist" is a modern word for "heretic," branding an individual worthy of excommunication from the body politic. The right uses otherwords ("reverse-racist," "feminazi," "unamerican," "communist") for similiar purposes, but these words have less elastic meanings. Fascism, however, is the gift that keeps on giving. - Jonah Goldberg, revisited.

Who's the bastard who wrote the book where she's killed off? I need to send some hate mail that won't get read.

Nah - and YAY, they're so cool. Sci-fi and jazz just seem to blend so great  Other of my favourites are C-3PO, Jabba, Mace Windu and of course Han Solo.
