Star Wars Sequel Trilogy--What would you want to see?

It really depended on what book/author, though. Allston's stuff is always great, especially the Borleias 2-parter. That was my favorite of the series.

I would love to see the children of Luke Skywalker going on a bunch of adventures and try to defeat a evil from the past. Like maybe a Sith Lord from the very first sith or something terrible from the force itself.

The three books in the Darth Bane trilogy would make an excelent third set of movies. First off it would be all new actors so it wouldn't matter how old all the orginial ones are. Plus the story of Darth Bane explains why there are only two Sith at a time instead of hundreds of them all over the place. His story would really help reveal some of the mystery around the Sith.

How about Zinji? He was a good admiral with a sizeable fleet. The books also had a good plot. Or you could use Isard and the Lusankya when she broke it free from couruscant. Or maybe on the Zhann consortium? They had an impressive accomplishment list.

The prequel trillogy was about the rise of the sith and the fall of the jedi plus the rise and fall of Anikin Skywalker, and the origional trillogy was about Lukes training and the rise of the rebels and fall of the empire. I'd like the third arc to be about A new young jedi who's going through doubts about the light side and the dark side.

VII would be The newbie fighting bounty hunters and general grevious MK II, VIII would be the newbie going through dounts, getting married anyway, and killing grevious MK II, and IX would be The newbie turning to the darkside and restoring the empire to its former glory (therefore setting up the fourth trillogy).

I belive the dark side is actualy the good side, so I'd have them win.

The empire never really fell or was destoryed (In the EU anyway)

It was engaged in a almost twenty year long war with the rebellion in one form or another and many notable leaders for both sides were brought into the EU for the conflict. Grand Admiral thrawn, His student/ Second in command Gilad Pellaeon, A bunch of Important remenant Leaders from their admirality and Navy. Papatine's own goverment including Sate Prestige and it of course had conflicts which happened during the war such as the Yeathia inviasion and the invasion at Bakura by the (I cannot recall the name but they were featured in Truce at Bakura). In short the GCW (Galactic civil war) is probably the best place to do any spin off or direct sequel movies.

You have a bunch of new characters you could bring in but of course classic characters would also be present as Wedge, Han, Lando, Luke and Leia were all present during this.

True enough, Lucas tries to deny the canon claim of the EU material yet he sure does love the money it makes him for allowing them to write/produce it.
