I'd be an airbender. I just think controlling air, the stuff that is all around us, would be pretty cool. Imagine the possibilities!

Airbending is the best. It's the most dangerous in a fight, and it has the most practical applications in every day life.

Air is my least favorite. I feel it doesn't really do much.

So my friend asked me earlier what type of bender I would be, disregarding if I was the Avatar, and I was torn between Fire and Earth. What type of benders would you guys be?

Airbender purely so I control air pressure, sound, air resistance, and many other things. Basically I'd be Zaheer in here. That and I'd have the ability to outmatch just about every other bender on the planet.

Fire bending?
*removes oxygen, laughs, crushes with over pressure *

Water bending?
*lowers localised pressure and watches the water evaporate and then remove oxygen from lungs*

Earthbending?
*just move incredibly fast and kill the earth bender fast with under-pressure and watch as he/she starts evaporating*

And to top it off my philosophy in universe would be "when nobodies trying to kill you, then there is peace."

I've always been soothed by water, find it very harmonious and tranquil, a touch of serenity. However there is also a dark underside to it that can be devastating in the right circumstances.

Seriously though - probably earth. I like making safe places to hide from the rain, walking through walls and making myself look like a golem

The problem with earthbending would be that you couldn't really use it much, you'd get ticketed for wrecking the road or people's lawns and junk.

Earthbending carries Metalbending with it though, and in a world where metal is so prevalent, you could make a great deal of use out of that. And even out of Earthbending with a few adjustments, honestly.

What type of benders would you guys be?

Well i'm not too cocky to think i'd be the Avatar, the one person in at least hundreds of thousands.

I'm too big on revenge and stuff like that to really fit into the whole ideal airbender thing.

While i wouldn't mind the healing aspects of water, something i like to pay attention to in many of the games i play, I don't really see myself with the flowing moments of a waterbender.

I could reasonably see myself using earth, but it often gives off a brute strength kind of feel and i'm not really that sort of person.

So probably fire is most likely out of the four. Though they all have their uses.

I was a resident of finland for the first 8 years of my life so Water bender, and ofcourse since I lived in rural Finland I'd also be able to bend trees and wood.
I've been a resident of Florida for 14 years. So I'd be a Law-bender.

I dunno, it's possible. There was a really subtle callback to ATLA that I only caught because I just recently re-watched a large chunk of it: Korra nearly quotes Aang verbatim from the canyon episode about how solving conflict is what she does. (In fact, she may have exactly quoted that line, complete with similar inflection, I'd need to compare the scenes back to back to be sure.)

I daresay that people will be willing to pay me good money if I can demolish buildings by waving my hands; instead of them having to use expensive machines
