Look, I'm not trying to hate on Korrasami, I'm just trying to say that the ending was open to interpretation, and I chose to interpret it as them just being friends. Why do you all have a problem with that? I'll decide what I want to interpret it as, not what you say I should interpret it as.

A) Because you obviously have no idea what the word "Interpret" means
B) The creators of the show even confirmed that Korra and Asami are a couple
C) Even though you have the information that the creators made Korra and Asami a couple, you still choose to deny it

Stuff like this does annoy people.

Sometimes it is the moral duty of a fan to reject an ending. I point at the end of Digimon Adventure 02 as an example.

only point of the page limit is to reduce server load, a slight overage isn't going to kill the server

I have absolutely no issues against people with different sexual orientations, but the whole Korra/Asami thing was handled really bad. Throughout the series, there didn't seem to be anything more than just a normal friendship between Korra and Asami, so the thing at the end felt sudden, rushed and forced. They should have had their relationship grow naturally throughout the final season, instead of suddenly pulling it out of nowhere at the very end. Really poorly handled, there.

We approached the network and while they were supportive there was a limit to how far we could go with it

Unfortunately, because of this, the way Asami and Korra were paired at the end, felt artificial. The network should have allowed them to make the chemistry between the two characters, a bit more obvious. It didn't feel like Korra and Asami's relationship was growing in any way towards a romantic conclusion and this was harmful in the end.

I have no idea what you people are talking about. The chemistry was painfully obvious to me and every single person I personally know who watches the show.
"The Nixon campaign in 1968, and the Nixon White House after that, had two enemies: the antiwar left and black people. You understand what I'm saying? We knew we couldn't make it illegal to be either against the war or black, but by getting the public to associate the hippies with marijuana and blacks with heroin, and then criminalizing both heavily, we could disrupt those communities. We could arrest their leaders. raid their homes, break up their meetings, and vilify them night after night on the evening news. Did we know we were lying about the drugs? Of course we did."—former Nixon domestic policy chief John Ehrlichman

Dunno', it didn't feel that way to me and a lot of other people. To me, it seems like they (the show's creators) were afraid and hesitant, which is really a shame because nowadays, most people don't have any issues against different sexual orientations, especially in the kind of age group which watched the show, aside from a small, obnoxious minority. This was detrimental to the development of the characters' relationship, as it should have been handled like the normal thing it is, not "in hushed whispers", as they did it.

EDIT: Maybe its also because in animated shows, its almost impossible to portray the subtler details of body language and facial expression, which are really important when developing a romantic relationship between characters.

You act like this was the ideal way for the show's creators, rather than Nick being the one restricting them. The fact the creators cared enough to explicitly confirm that they entered into a same sex relationship shows otherwise. Is Nick stupid for perpetuating the stupid idea that you can show a male and a female shoving their tongues down each other's throat, but can't do that when they're the same sex? Yes. But for what they were allowed to get away with, the creators did this well, and it was obvious, especially if you were taking it as a possibility from the get go.

I don't think it is necessarily the case that the execs themselves are prejudiced, more so that a significant portion of their audience is, and they are worried about lawsuits, parental complaints, and lost viewers.
