One thing i noticed about megas is that they were a thing in gen 4. Electivire, Magmortar , Magnezone, Yanmega, and Weavile are all very similar to mega evolutions and are shockingly similar to their prior evolution.
Fris will never see it coming.

Agreed! Adding a bunch of evolutions in gen iV was awesome, and I wish they do that to the pokemon that need them in gen VII! Heliolisk, for example. It looks like the middle stage of an evolution line.

You’ll also have the ability to change your Buddy Pokémon at any time.
