I was messing around with a trainer the other day, just to see how I could change the typical outcomes of Empire TW. I ended up giving a ton of money to Maratha, Georgia, and Sweden. I am playing as GB. The map is basically 5 colors now. Red for the Brits (me), Blue for Sweden, Gray for Georgia, Red for Ottomans, and Orange-ish for Maratha. A few smaller nations exist, but they will be swallowed up soon.

After working hard playing ETW, sometimes it is just nice to dick around and steam roll over people. :P
I'm not who I was.

Playing as Engerland in M2TW is always fun.

France can't even handle these longbows right now.

But still I regard Venice as the best faction I ever played. But I don't understand a thing about the M2TW Campaign Map.

Meh, I liked Milan better due to the fact I can slug a battle out with them better than Venice.

I like Venice since they are richer, or probably because it was the first faction I chose.

I never noticed that...

I did notice that Constantinople is the largest city on the map in the beginning.

Really just any Italian faction is pretty much super-powered with their militias and money. I've yet to purchase a non-militia spearman unit while playing as the Venetians. Mercenaries excluded. (Well, actually I'm sure I have, but I rarely did.)

Guys may I ask for some advice on RTW?

I'm at the stage where it's the 3 families duking it out and I'm struggling to land a decisive blow in the civil war.
I have D-Dayd africa against Scipii and I'm beating Brutii in the East but I feel the war is taking longer than it should. Every 3 or four towns i take is met with a setback on the other front.

I feel the AI has a deeper unit pool than me somehow depsite them having less land and money.

Any tips?

Brutii has all of those rich, unit factory Greek cities.

I like defending my two territories as Milan than expanding (I will expand to corsica and sardinia)

Maybe it is because I never played The tutorial in Medieval 2.

And I am looking for a Total War Game (Not the Rome 2 because it will need a huge memory). Anyone has/have idea?

It does no use to win ten major skirmishes if you lose the one that counts. Against Brutii, I would march a decoy army overland the Balkans until I get to the Aegean, then either swing south or start besieging Thessalonika. Basically, just draw attention up there. Then, assuming you have taken all of Italy, prepare a very powerful army and land it in southern Greece. Take Sparta, and the enemy will have to split his forces. (Don't enslave or massacre any cities, Greece is da best) once the Balkans are yours, the Brutii will have lost their most powerful cities and you can churn out armies by the dozens.

If worst comes to worst, use cheat codes. :p

You like epic gunpowder based battles? Napoopan. Want gunpowder battles across three continents and naval battles in five? Empire. Want a slugfest? Med 2. Want something that involves japan? Shogun 2. Want something that has an actual AI? Med 1.
