France can't even handle these longbows right now.

Really just any Italian faction is pretty much super-powered with their militias and money. I've yet to purchase a non-militia spearman unit while playing as the Venetians. Mercenaries excluded. (Well, actually I'm sure I have, but I rarely did.)

I'm at the stage where it's the 3 families duking it out and I'm struggling to land a decisive blow in the civil war.
I have D-Dayd africa against Scipii and I'm beating Brutii in the East but I feel the war is taking longer than it should. Every 3 or four towns i take is met with a setback on the other front.
I feel the AI has a deeper unit pool than me somehow depsite them having less land and money.
Any tips?

But every time I played as Venice, I can't expand quick.

Maybe it is because I never played The tutorial in Medieval 2.
And I am looking for a Total War Game (Not the Rome 2 because it will need a huge memory). Anyone has/have idea?
