Cool. I used to think they were the worst of the Big 4 but now they are my favorite band. I was surprised the nation name "Megadeth" was still available.

They were always my favourite of the big 4, perhaps because I had a friend who insisted on how awesome they were and thusly introduced me to them while criticising metallica at the time for selling out. Later I came to appreciate the other three in the big four. Though I never really got into slayer though I've enjoyed quite a few of their albums.

The name still being free is weird cause every time I've made a nation (and I have this, my main, and made three puppets), I've never been able to use the names I wanted. Yet a very popular metal band was free? Doesn't make sense.

I only like a few albums, though I must say, it's in the top two of the big 4, and the other one isn't Metallica or Anthrax.

Megadeth has some good riffs.

I'm at a loss for not realizing that I still like metal...by the way, does anybody have any recommendations for good melodic death metal bands? Also, does anyone here like Wintersun?

I thought 'In Flames' was everyone's first melodeath band, they're the only one I like really. I like Lunar Strain at least.

In Flames, Dark Tranquillity, At The Gates, Kalmah, and Light This City. Those are my favorite MeloDeath bands. Amon Amarth is also good, but I'm not quite sure they are considered MeloDeath.

And yes, I've listened to and like Wintersun. If you like Wintersun, you should definitely give Kalmah a try. Light This City is somewhat of a cross between MeloDeath and Metalcore, but really cool since the lead singer/screamer is female. Unfortunately, they're no longer together, but their 2 or 3 albums are great. Also, not sure if Arch Enemy is considered MeloDeath either, but they are another female lead MeloDeath-ish band that you should give a try if you haven't already.
