If you have been searching for a good symphonic Black metal band that does Lovecraftian Horror(As I have been lately), Then try out the band Bal-Sagoth. Very impressive in my opinion.

I was playing Nisennenmondai (noise rock you pleb) in my room and my cousin asked me what kind of metal it was. told him it was noise and he was utterly confused. I put on some real metal (Baroness because it was the next thing on shuffle) to compare and he said they sounded the same.

Just thought I'd bring up a stupid story. fuckin pleb

What's with this new saying "Plebeian"? Sounds stupider than kvlt or grim.

It's the opposite of patrician, and refers to people with bad music tastes aka anyone who's not your neighbor on Last.fm

Still sounds stupid and elitist-like. Just live and let live it's pointless to look down on those who have different music tastes.

Lyrics Will Not Reach the Audience, icoulddietomorrow, RibsOut, and Stonerobixxx are all pretty good. Shoegazeralive was awesome when it was still alive. TheSirensSound used to be pretty good, but he pushes too much generic crescendo-core for my tastes nowadays.

I like needledrop's reviews, even if I disagree with him a bit and on his criteria, but he's really knowledgable and exposes me to some gems.

I've recently been expanding my extreme metal boundaries by getting into some early grindcore, like Skinless, Carcass, and Cephalic Carnage. Anybody have any further suggestions based on those?

Insect Warfare. I don't like much grindcore, but Insect Warfare is definitely one you should check out. Maybe Pig Destroyer too.
