It appears the mods have made a final decision to move the Essential A&F-core Builder to Forum 7, despite my protests. If you would still like to participate in building A&F's Top 25 albums, you can still do so.

Despite it being directly related to ARTS AND FICTION? And isn't any more of a game thread than, like you mentioned, the What Are You Listening To? thread? Bah whatever...

I always forgot how much I actually did Like Drawing Blood by Gotye. I don't even dislike his most popular album, because I find it to be fairly decent, but I definitely like this album better than his most popular. It has a very nice...chill sort of vibe to it.

Anybody have music they'd recommend that has...weird, twisted, violent, etc. or otherwise disturbing lyrics? I'm not really sure of the best way to describe it, so here's a few examples of what I'm talking about; in other words, some really twisted shit. :p

Any genre's fine except punk, death metal or anything similar.

Oh come on, death metal is the very epicenter of messed up lyrics!

Torsos hang from their own intestines
Raped of all bodily extensions,
Stumps wreathing in sludge like infection
Suffering through a rancid amputation
A pulsating artery accompanied by some veins,
Slit with no restraint
Sacs of pus develop
My muscles tighten as I feel the rush

I look at your body starting gush
I slice through the limb, a human dissection
Portions of half-eaten flesh in my mouth
Starting to chew your now bleeding stump
I will swallow your pus
Your own rectal slime I’ll force you to drink
Vessels explode as needles injected

Uncontrollable
My brain tormented
Slit from head to toe, die through the torture
Disease engulfs you
Internal rot
Fresh cut wounds, beginning to clot

Ripping through flesh is what I do best
Tear off an arm, Amputated neck
Eyes removed, cranium smashed
Decomposing remains, severed in half

Dying slowly never to rest,
Nerves are quivering as I rip

Removal of life on the blade of my knife
Inserted in your spine, smashing through bone
Feel my hell, I feed on fright
Rape the limbless cadaver

Absolutely charming stuff.

Its lovely. I listen to other types of music though.(mainly alt and chillstep. Definition with link at bottem) For me, good music would be ranging from Paramore to Majestic Dubstep to Onerepublic

Chillstep: a softer form of dubstep, it is melodic and often includes female vocals. Consider it the slow sad or love songs for the dubstep genre.

My favorite Dubstep is Burial, which is closer to the original Dubstep before it was bastardized by Skrillex, which sent off a chain of more bastardization because it was "Cool" now. It's funny because at this point, Skrillex is the creative one, and he sticks to the same ol same ol formula every god damn song.

Rateyourmusic calls it Dubstep, Future Garage, and more minor stuff, Ambient and 2-Step, whatever the frak Future Garage and 2-Step is.

KXM - KXM
Another useless "super group" of friends jamming together. Consists of members of Korn, King's X and Lynch Mob. 4.7/10

Not really liking the style of the vocals, but the performance is very good. Especially the piano play closer to the end.
