Actually, no. Those are subgenres of punk, not metal. The general punk thread is dead, so I don't see why these genres can't have their own discussion thread tbh. Unless it was only locked because the OP is insufficient, in which case nevermind.

I personally think this is bloggy. While it asks the reader a question, it's highly opinion driven and lacks any real depth to it.
