Would a script that changed a nation's password be illegal?
Would a script that changed a nation's flag be illegal?
Motto?
A nation that I controlled, to be more precise.
The change would be done every time I pressed a button.

As long as you stick to the OP's suggested 'one click one action', then editing a dispatch is fine. Note that since edited dispatches go out in the NS world beyond your own nation, editing them is a restricted action! So you may not have a stand-alone script running which edits dispatches of multiple nations, or does so on its own accord without user interaction.
