To the genius who deleted it: explain how this innocent, humorous comment on Angela Merkel's ineptitude and dictatorial intransigence is 'obscene, illegal, treatening, malicious, defamatory or spam'. Since I have found you lot a tad slow in the past, I'll 'translate' for you: 'No nation, no country, just "Ferkel"' [a play on words, Ferkel created from Führer, as in 'Ein Volk, Ein Reich, Ein Führer' and Merkel's surname]. Is criticising the German chancellor now banned on this site? What' was the rationale behind the deletion? Please do not tell me that someone could possibly be so daft as to take that motto as any kind of endorsement of Nazism, could they??

Waiting for your reply and your decision to interfere with my nation had better be well justified! In the event of you being unable to justify it, you shall apologise and personally put my national motto back where it belongs.

2) POLITICAL NICKNAMING- DON'T. We WILL be smacking harder than usual on this going forward. So leave the "clever" wordplay and insulting nicknames at the door. A far from all-inclusive list of examples of what NOT to post: Obummer, Oboner, Democrap, Republicunt, Mittens, Libertard, Hitlery... and so on and so forth. Such nicknames add nothing to the discussion except to rile people up, and you will get smacked for it!

'Ferkel' a form of trolling, offensive, has no place on NationStates. What a paragon of fairness that impartial moderator is! I am so lucky that he graced me with his enlightening opinion. Now I have truly seen the error of my ways.
For the record 'What now, you pathetic excuse for a moderator?' has also been deemed an unacceptable motto, I wonder if a random nation would also have it deleted. Oh, well.
