Being forced to ''reveal'' myself when i want to RP

I recently started playing NationStates, it looked fun and i started tinkering around with all the buttons. I decided to go into the fourms so I could RP. I found a rp called ''The Year of Our Lord 1200'' It looked fun so i decided to make a app.

Then the guy said ''Why do i get the feeling this is a alt''
I reply back, saying I don't know why you feel that in a joking manner
He proceeds to go onto my profile and snoop around before saying'' you made your account 40 minutes ago and your first post was this thread''
I reply, still joking , saying You've figured out my master plan! nooo.

jk jk I'm not a alt, don't judge a book by its cover.

The guy replies back, saying
So. Standard procedure when dealing with puppets.

Mate, git out and bring your real account.

I don't feel like this is right, I shouldnt be forced to ''reveal'' myself when i want to RP.

If you are legitimately not a puppet, then sorry. Maybe you can get a moderator to help.

there are lots of other rps probably and also maybe you could start one =/ sry if you really liked that one keep trying and do what it takes i guess

Thread owners are allowed setting their own RP rules. The best thing to do in this case is to send a telegram to the person, explaining why you prefer to use a certain nation. Perhaps add assurances that you won't use a puppet, even if the nation you choose to use isn't your primary account. If you're new, tell him you're new. If he doesn't accept your explanation or insists otherwise, you can find another RP or start your own. That said, if you only have one and they don't believe you, I'm afraid there isn't much we can do to help.
