I don't appreciate the mix of IC and OOC going on in this post. I engaged in early voting after conferring with members of my region and reading and reviewing the proposal and thread myself, and I don't appreciate being singled out for simply engaging in early voting against a proposal. I also take offense to "failed author" and "petty". It's dragging my specific name through the mud when I haven't done anything to deserve such treatment.

Neither post is actionable. As far as GA politics go, this is run-of-the-mill, mild as an inoffensive piece of celery. As for the IC/OOC post, the elements are labelled, so there is no chance for confusion.

I'm offended. I don't like being repeatedly singled out and harassed (as a player) months after I authored a proposal.

I've put up with it for over a decade. People have been quite vocal about both incarnations of Rights and Duties. Call it the price of a GA badge.

How you feel about your own resolution and its effects isn't really relevant here. I want to not be singled out because I choose to cast a vote and happen to have authored a resolution that someone didn't like

We do not guarantee that you will not be offended on NationStates. This particular example does not seem to rise to the degree at which we might say it was intended to cause offense.

Continuing to complain and appeal because you don't like the answer doesn't mean the answer will change.

This is a political game. Writing legislation means that you will likely confront political consequences. This includes people offering constructive criticism of your votes, posts, and authoring endeavors. We do not guarantee you will not be offended. This is not news, as that's been the policy on this site (to my knowledge) since it's inception - or, at least, for the 12 years I've been playing NationStates.
