If you read the thread OP in question it is meant to address more than just whether buddhism is a philosophy or religion. In fact the conversation we were having was totally unrelated to the topic of the OP of the previous thread. It is more like a Buddhism in general discussion thread like the Christian one by Archregimancy and the Jewish one by another poster. I'd appreciate it if it were unmerged as the topic me and another person were discussing was whether or not Buddhism and ambition were compatible at all, which is another good general Buddhism question.

It was, Kry, I made a general Buddhism thread but it was merged for no reason with the other thread, which is why I asking for it to be unmerged.

It was suddenly merged and I saw this, and I knew what happened. Can you unmerge it or will I have to repost the thread?

The thread I made was a general discussion thread BEFORE it was merged. I don't think anyone has read either my post or the thread title to which my thread was merged. =/

If I may, it seems like there's already a Buddhist discussion thread, much newer than the "Is Buddhism a Religion, or a Philosophy?" thread.
