I think there should be a better way to organize your posts

I know it gives some options, but I don't think it's enough. For me, at least.

I think you should be able to "star" certain threads that you want to keep an eye on and/or stay active in.

As well as more easily being able to see the threads you started. I also think there should be a way to take you straight to your post on whatever thread you posted on.

There may be a way to already do some of these things, but if so I am not aware of them.

What do you guys think? Am I just being too picky?

I agree, but mods will always be reluctant to customize the forum software. Upgrades get more difficult as more additions are made. In the meantime, here's some helpful advice.

• You can "star" a thread by clicking "Bookmark topic" down at the very bottom of the page, in the bar right above the page footer. You can then view your bookmarked threads through the User Control Panel, linked to in the top bar.
• You can view the threads that you started by:
  
  • Putting your username in the "Search for author" field,
  • Selecting all top-level forums in the "Search in forums" box,
  • Selecting "Topic titles only" in the "Search within" field,
  • And finally selecting "Topics" in the "Display results as" field.
  It's not quick and easy, but it does work. Here's all the threads that I have started.
• I too wish for an option that shows you all of your posts in a topic. It's implemented on another forum that I'm on, and I miss it here. There may be some way to do it, but I'm not aware of it.

Fixed that for ya. Mods have zero say in the forum coding bits like that!

Link at the bottom of the page to bookmark the thread. Then go to UCP to view your bookmarks.

Advanced search. Search for your nation in the author field. Select the option to search for titles or original posts. Both problems solved.
