challenge nations glitch?

Postby Blademan9999 » Wed Jul 01, 2015 12:04 am

I am no longer getting a X2 bonus for defeating nations of higher level then me.
Why is this?

Moved to Technical.

The challenge minigame was made for NS's 10th anniversary a while ago. It's not actively supported any more, so in the event there are bugs (I haven't looked into it, so I don't know if this is one) they won't be fixed.

From what I recall from long ago, the bonus only applies for the first time you defeat a specific nation higher than yourself.

It is a shame, because the challenge is one of the best things in the NS. Best thing you can do on this site when you wait for reply. Also, there are some stats. Im shocked that the "leaders" of NS forum do not care about this feature...

Subjective, other people might not think of it as the "best thing".
Carl Sagan, astrophysicist and atheist wrote:"Science is not only compatible with spirituality; it is a profound source of spirituality.
When we recognize our place in an immensity of light-years and in the passage of ages,
when we grasp the intricacy, beauty, and subtlety of life, then that soaring feeling,
that sense of elation and humility combined, is surely spiritual...
The notion that science and spirituality are somehow mutually exclusive does a disservice to both."

Why would a link to the challenges be provided on nation pages if it is no longer intended to be supported? Seems nonsensical to me.

At the very least, the helpful information you posted should be included on the challenge page somewhere. Just a suggestion, of course.
