you get one level per badge or by challenge points. If you have 20 Badges, you will be a level 20 until you start advancing levels. I don't think anyone knows how many points to the next level. I don't necessarily keep track.

You get 1 level per world badge (easter eggs and region badges don't increase your level)

As for the levels, you can work them out from the challenge rank list (if you look at the inactive nations [because they have 0 badges), then compare their level with the number of points, then find where the levels change, and that's when the points change too.

But I've already done all of that, so here are the levels

2 - 2
3 - 5
4 - 20
5 - 50
6 - 100
7 - 200
8 - 300
9 - 400
10- 500
11- 650
12- 800
13- 1'000
14- 1'250
15- 1'500
16- 1'750
17- 2'000
18- 2'500
19- 3'000
20- 4'000
21- 5'000
22- 10'000
23- 20'000
24- 50'000
25- 100'000
*25 seems to be the highest level (not including badges), as the #1 on the leaderboard has over 4'000'000 points

Remember though, these are the points needed to increase a level without including your world "top n%" badges
(i.e. so if you're level 10, and have 3 world badges, that means your "true" level is 7, so you need 300 points to reach the next level)

Also, how do the people at the top of the leader board manage to get so many points?!?
#1 has over 4'000'000 points, which is insane!

I feel like took me weeks just to get over 10'000 points, so getting 400 times that would take years!

Also, anyone know what the bonus multipliers in challenge are?
so far I've only notice the following

+2 for region mate
x2 for first defeat of opponent
x2 for flawless victory
x2 for highest opponent beaten
1/2 for opponent of lower level

Surely there must be more if people can get scores into the millions
