Yes, something new and exciting. This is just a discussion thread full of musings and whimsies and imaginationary reveries. 8)

It would be lovely if all the feeders with boring names based on cardinal directions were to be given a bit of a makeover and named more beautifically.

If there is going to be another system created region made I think it should be unique in more than just name.

We already know that a legion of jaded cosmopolitans, invaders, defenders, and groupies are going to pile onto whatever the new region is called the moment it's created. We know that at this stage of the game, the chances of an organic regional culture to emerge and grow in a minty fresh game created region, without in some way being a client state of another region or group, is pretty much zero.

Invaders are likely already thinking about messing the place up, defenders thinking about how to protect it from them, and invaders thinking of how to subvert any democratic process that defenders attempt to shepherd the place through. Meanwhile the cosmopolitans and groupies are imagining how much more interesting they can be in a new game created region, in an attempt to leave all the jaded versions of themselves behind for a while in the other GCR's (until they need a voice in those other GCR's to recognize their new region incarnation). The introduction of a new system created region brings up the saying "this is why we can't have nice things" after the first series of familiar coups, annexations, and betrayals are underway.

If we're going to make a new sinker, maybe we should be honest with ourselves and combine a sinker with a warzone region. Make it completely wide open and limit how much regional influence you can stack there. It can become what the warzone regions were meant to be but failed to become.

How about a region where endorsements don't matter? Any random nation (or the best nation in a random category) gets to become Delegate for a week. They can't eject/ban anyone but they can change the Flag, WFE and make/break embassies. It would be something different.

Rather than piling on to an existing thread, if you have a unique suggestion, make a thread for it. Try to be as detailed as you can about what it would all include. Try to also look at benefits and disadvantages.

I hope its okay for me to bump this long lost thread full of my little whimsies but I was thinking that Selene and actually any moon related goddess would be beautiful.

After countless year(s? idk I was never good at numbers or times) I still think that an Epic Event where by random lottery all the GCRs and feeders and sinkers were all renamed to more fun stuff would be cool. And maybe a algorithm could be involved as long as it didn't become sentient.

In the realm of feminine things, it would be cool if there was a region where the president\elect changed every day to a WA holding member of the region...or maybe even each week..it would be like a wheel of fortune and slightly chaotic in a good way?

And, definitely. It's a pretty name for a GCR.

Not really, no. Your ideas are different from the original purpose of the thread and should have been in a new thread.
