I had a problem today where instead of loading my posted message on the page, It went through the traditional system (the "your post has been lodged" page). Made sure NS++ was enabled. I'm currently not sure of any other RMB problems at the moment. Got Windows 10, on Google Chrome. Anybody else got the problem?

Is NS++ still being maintained at all? Most of the useful non-cosmetic features are broken. Many have been for months now.

Happens every once in a while. Windows 8.1 with Chrome 52, using NS with Century theme.

I believe that the source code is well...open source... if you're able, I'm sure you could fork your own and get started that way. :)

(This goes for everyone).

Priority should be getting a Mozilla signature...

If recruitment could be fixed or if someone could link an alternate recruitment API or something, that'd be great...

Loading NS++ onto Firefox

Postby Juskalherria » Mon Aug 22, 2016 10:55 am

When I click the button in the NS++ thread I get the message that FireFox has blocked this add-on because it is unsigned. Anyone else run into this? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you.

I've never been able to get NS++ to work on Firefox. I gave up on it.

Experiencing the recruitment issue. This is of course not my position in which to say, but this recruitment issue should probably be treated as a higher priority than it is being treated now.

It appears that NS++ has been abandoned.

Please switch to google chrome instead.

NS++ doesn't work on FF 48.0.2 for me.

I changed the "xpinstall.signatures.required" to false but it still won't let me install the add-on. It downloads normally and stops before the installations begins

Is there anything else I can do to make it work?

I lost it, but it came back a day later.

Also, there seems to be an issue with starting regional message boards, e.g. if you try to start a new RMB you will be unable to post.

As of the latest update, i found out that i could not post on the regional message board of the North Pacific while i had NS++ enabled. I'm using Firefox currently (an older version; cannot upgrade due to some of the updates they made to the newest browser).

I've had the problem of not being able to post on RMBs from a region's main page with NS++ (FF) enabled for... gosh, probably nearly a year? Ever since I started using NS++, really. The Lodge Message button doesn't do anything but jump the view to the page top. It feels like you've posted, but you haven't. The text box is still sitting there with your message. I wonder how many people have left the page afterwards thinking it posted, only to lose their message forever. SMH It happened to me a couple of times before I caught on. I've had to ingrain a habit of going to 'forum view' at the bottom or the RMB button at the top, as that's the only place from which it will let me post. But it's still a rather frustrating bug.

Thank you for letting me know about your experience. I caught on the first time i made an RMB post with the extension on. Bothering to double check my post for errors. :P

Bug with NS++ and Regional Titles

Postby Xyanth » Thu Sep 08, 2016 12:25 pm

Hi there,

As Afforess is gone now is anyone maintaining NS++ anymore?

The ability to change the titles on the regional founder and the WA delegate is reset and greyed out. I kind of liked that...
