That happened to me too, but it went away when I refreshed, and hasn't appeared again.
I can confirm that the NS++ settings page works, and "Load More Happenings" appears to work. But all of my saved happenings have disappeared. Oh well, I can live with that.
I like how more information is being displayed; it's more precise. If only it didn't output extra garbage along with it.
When I'm not getting that, the expanded regional happenings show this (45 years, 220 days ago):

45 years and 220 days ago happens to be 1 January 1970, the epoch that marks the beginning of Unix Time (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unix_time). I think NS++ lost track of the time and encoded it as "0"...
