While we are mentioning fixes, on the HTTPS version of the NEWS page I don't see the youtube iframes you link. You can't link HTTP iframes on an HTTPS page. I'd recommend you always use HTTPS for those stuff, since on HTTP, HTTPS iframes are no big deal, but the reverse is not true.

I don't see that problem on that page, perhaps [violet] immediately fixed it?

There is a bug in the current version that prevents the badge from displaying if you have no other badges. It's been fixed for the next release (due sometime this week).

Theoretically yes, but I thought there was already a fix in the works. There is a discussion thread somewhere.

I can't access the page or anything. A region member also had this problem.

I tried removing the extension then putting it back, but that didn't work. Help?

I think there's a bug in the regional update thingy. When I go to the World Assembly link above my nation description, it shows that I have one endorsement, when I have three. It also only shows 4 nations, when there should be 6. The two nations difference are Aeken and Othelos, who came to the region a couple days ago and endorsed me. There are no other endorsements in the region, and my influence gain (at the moment, it's 9+0.21) seems small for having 3 endorsements.
Also, in the Banhammer section of regional controls, it shows Armenia III, who left the region a couple days ago. It doesn't show either Aeken or Othelos. Everything appears to be frozen how it was a couple days ago.
I'm on Google Chrome on Windows 7, if that changes something. Thanks o/

I'm not "throwing sling", I'm addressing a key matter which, as I read the whole boondoggle, was not-in my opinion-fully addressed.
Now if he or you see it as an 'ultimatum', then its your poor judgement at fault. I simply seek clarification which so far has not been satisfactorily or properly been given because the OP feels inappropriate to the task.

Unless he's willing to take the time out of his day to present a more comprehensive, complete, and satisfactory explanation behind this concept, my opinion will remain unchanged and I won't hesitate to offer the so-called FUD counter because I will rightly see them as genuine and not an attempt to generate fear.

Your lack of technical understanding of how the internet, web browsers, websites, and browser extensions work is not a failure on my part. You have repeatedly shown a gross misunderstanding in how the technology works. Short of an attack by a global adversary, NS++ can not be used to run arbitrary code from someone not me on your machine. While it is your right to remain ignorant of the facts, it is similarly my right to claim you are spreading FUD.

His concern is completely unfounded. Github is not where NS++ code comes from when it runs on your machine. Github is a development tool, where I have an account. Your machine downloads from either Google or NationStatesPlusPlus.net (depending on your browser) with a secure connection. Changing the code on Github does not affect what code runs on a user machine. It's a mirror of the codebase. Like in real life, drawing on a mirror does not make the object reflected in reality change.

Afforess addressed your concerns and answered them very well - multiple times. The average Tom, Dick, or Larry can't - as in Can Not alter NS++ code, even with he/she were able to access Aff's GitHub account. GitHub is a repository for code - it is there so people can easily see code for open source projects. The code that actually runs on your machine is not hosted on GitHub. It's hosted either on Google (For Chrome Users) or NationStatesPlusPlus.net (For other users.) and downloaded onto your machine. Therefore, hacking GitHub wouldn't do a damn thing.

So no, you shouldn't be concerned at all.
