Removing Avatars

I think that most avatars look horrendous and mine in particular scales poorly. I’ve changed my settings so avatars aren’t displayed but I’d really like to hide mine so nobody else can see it either. Is this possible?

Hhhmm... I don't see a feature available at the moment to remove your flag from viewing to everyone.

Well, I'll add the suggestion to the list.

But might I say, I don't think your flag looks too bad - and there is always the chance to make a new, better one!

My flag looks just lovely on my main nation page, even if I do say so myself.

The problem is that it is designed to be several times larger than the thumbnail used as my avatar, and it doesn't seem like we can use a seperate image for our avatar (or else I could create a smaller version of my flag with much nicer quality).

While you're at it, the tiny little flags used next to comments on regional pages and issue updates on the nation pages and so on scale very poorly too, but I've given up hope of those being fixed.
