Focus this time was the time and speed of the daily update. It's nice to have WA
For the past 11 months frequent measurements were made to observe how long it took the WA clerks to complete the (major) update. Over time, their workload has varied. As the number of nations in the world changed, so did the number of things they had to do. But they have valiantly kept on performing their tasks, and likewise the Ballotonian Office of Useless Statistics has also recorded how much the clerks have accomplished. And so, without further delay.. the graphs!
The number of seconds the update has taken over the last 11 months.
The number of nations the WA clerks had to update over the same 11 months.
And finally... the moment of truth: the working speed of our WA clerks, measured by the number of nations they have updated per second.
As we can see, in the past 11 months the clerks have gradually been slacking off! We advise WA management to step in promptly and decisively. These bureaucratic paper-pushers deserve to be called to order! No more fabricating paper planes out of dismissed proposals for nation legislation, no more taking random minute-long breaks while WA-Member nations eagerly await the paperwork to be updated on the region they've very recently decided to call their new home, and above all, NO MORE LETTING THE LEADER OF BALLOTONIA WAIT OUTSIDE THEIR OFFICES SO THEY CAN FIRST FINISH AN ARGUMENT ABOUT LLAMAS AND SQUIRRELS!!! Not that the latter in any way played a role in the decision of the Ballotonian Government to investigate the work of the WA clerks in the first place. No, no, not at all.
NB: the increased 'jitter' of the graph towards the right end is caused by there being more measurements per month (one per day) in the last few months than were made on the very left side of the graphs (one per week). The end of update was determined by the time stamp on the regions.xml.gz files, which explains only measurements were made during the Major update.
