A bit too straightforward and grammatically flawed. How about this:

Requirements: Slavery has not been legalized and/or is illegal, business is legal, prisons are present in the nation, crime is high.

[option]"This is an great idea!" says @@RANDOMNAME@@, the CEO of @@NAME@@'s biggest corporation, "Just think of the savings! I won't have to pay for as many workers, and you can finally cut down on the staff in those ghastly prisons! Just think of the @@CURRENCY@@!"
[effect]Criminals work long hours without pay, while former prison guards lose their jobs

[option]"No! @@NAME@@ is not the place for slavery!" exclaims @@RANDOMNAME@@ the Minister of Human Rights, after telling one of your interns to take the rest of the day off "The proper path for our prisoners is not to turn them into slaves, but to rehabilitate them so they can return to society. @@LEADER@@, slavery has never been the answer to crime! Just give my department some funding, and the criminals will be owning companies!"
[effect]Gangs are known for having "vacation periods" while their leaders are persuaded that their actions were bad.

[option]"How about this," begins @@RANDOMNAME@@, an inmate chained to a huge boulder, and with the supervision of four guards "In the prisons, we are already slaves. It's time that we get rid of prisons and the corrupt "justice system" all together. Just imagine it, freedom to do whatever you want! You won't have to worry about a dime. Hey! Let me go!" he exclaims while the guards begin to roll the boulder back to the jail.
[effect]Gangs rule the streets as prisons close down across the nation

While the stats aren't necessary to include, we do appreciate when authors put them in. They serve as a good guideline of where they want that particular option to head. Especially if the writing is sub-par.

How would doing nothing decrease industry? It would keep the status quo, hence changing nothing.
