The Radiant, now one of the FASTEST GROWING REGIONS!

Postby New Bradfordsburg » Sun Jul 24, 2016 4:49 pm

NATIONS OF THE WORLD:

I bring to you a UNIQUE proposal.

I'm proud to announce The Radiant is now open for business and actively seeking members to participate in The Dáxlamic Council.

My intentions are ambitious, and I hope transformative to NationStates gameplay.

If you join me, you will be among the first to establish what will become the first truly global player-created faith. Through our examples, we will show the world how to live well through Dáxlam and we will advance Dáxlamic thought.

The structures are now in place for your arrival. We have offsite forums, a regional map, a governing system ready to get started with a quorum of three, and a fresh new angle of gameplay.

Whatever your background, please consider this chance to move your WA nation to The Radiant today and help Dáxlam get off the ground. Your place will be solidified in history.

This is the first time I have removed the password for my region and I'm excited to meet you, whoever you are! Don't be shy!

Dáxlamic Pillars

Postby New Bradfordsburg » Sun Jul 24, 2016 4:57 pm

The Seven Pillars of Dáxlam

If my neighbor is starving, I am impoverished.

Keep your lands forever green.

Welcome those unknown with love and teach them Dáxlam.

Do not gamble with your possessions.

It is a sin not to help those in need and it is a sin to help those who will not help themselves.

Forgive your errs and use them to find truth.

Accept Dux Bradford John as your spiritual father.

Dáxlamic Government Explained

Postby Bradfordsborough » Sun Jul 24, 2016 9:57 pm

So your thinking of joining The Dáxlamic Council!?

This is exciting news! But first, before you begin shaping the future of our faith as legislators, we're here to give you a crash course in Dáxlamic Law! :eyebrow:

Ladies and gentlemen, please apply your spectacles if necessary. :geek:

The Radiant shall be governed by two arms of government that will hold themselves in check: The Dáxlamic Council and The Spiritual Father.

While Dux Bradford John has the power to issue binding edicts, The Dáxlamic Council has the power to amend or repeal these edits with a 66% majority vote.

A quorum for the convening of The Council has been decreed as three.

Council Powers

As the council has the power to amend or repeal edicts, Council members also have the ability to unilaterally invoke procedures decreed by The Spiritual Father under the pretense of Dáxlamic Law.

To request the opening of an embassy, members may propose Conditions of Friendship, which require a majority vote. Any Condition of Friendship can be withdrawn with a 66% vote of The Council

Regions may be admitted under the protection of The Radiant as a Dáxlamic Dominion with a Resolution of Acceptance, which requires a majority vote.

The Council may issue Orders of Issuance as legislation, which shall serve as law in all reaches of the The Dáxlamic Council.

The Council can override any veto to successful legislation from The Spiritual Father with a 66% majority vote, or excommunicate any state from Dáxlam with an 80% vote.

The Council can appoint member states to positions as it deems necessary with Resolutions of Governance, which require a majority vote.

As you can tell, The Radiant will be a system cut clean of over-bureaucracy and will cut to the chase of gameplay with intentional outlined procedural resolutions, which are intended to be respected.

A system of veto checks in The Radiant is intended to keep our regional governance both immune to absolute tyranny and away from absolute gridlock.

Nations are free to interpret The Seven Pillars of Dáxlam (seen above) as they choose, but we are the ones chosen to carry the banner.

What ever do you mean?

Dáxlam, like all religion, is a human creation. It is a system of beliefs that have served the people of the ancient nation New Bradfordsburg well and brought riches to the poor.

Nations practicing Dáxlam must protect their people and their environment.

If you love your nation, you will treat your natural surroundings with respect. You will lead with a steady hand and use an iron fist when it is needed. You, as a Dáxlamic leader, will make sure your people have income equality: for when your neighbor is starving, you are impoverished.

You will treat people who subject to fair laws fairly.

Peoples in Dáxlamic nations are not to be discriminated against on the basis of sexual orientation, race, age or gender. All advocacy for the overthrow of a Dáxlamic state on the guise of protest shall hence be banned in Dáxlamic nations of good faith.

I know, that sounds intimidating. :ugeek: No, you say?

Political freedoms are deemed unnecessary in Dáxlamic nations, by and large. This is because we believe in the granting of large amounts of civil rights and broad social welfare.

Those opposing the state are opposing Dáxlam and the values of equality that lift our masses, and political enemies are to be dealt with on a case by case basis. Broad demographic groups are never to be demonized in Dáxlam.

These are basic tenants of Dáxlamic Law as they are meant to be interpreted. If followed wisely, they can harbor peace and harmony among our peoples!

The Radiant now one of fastest growing regions

Postby New Bradfordsburg » Sun Aug 07, 2016 6:27 am

As of today, we're proud to announce The Radiant as one of the fastest growing regions in NationStates.

We're also proud to announce that Dáxlam--as a faith--has begun to spread to WA nations within our region. It brings us great honor to announce Odinburgh, Lussia and Pontas as the first WA nations to join us in setting their national religions to Dáxlam.

Another development is that we reached a quorum and The Dáxlamic Council, the governing body of Dáxlam, is currently open for business on our offsite forums and is voting on proposals.

Many exciting things to announce about The Radiant, which now has our first convert, Camulia, elected as WA Delegate.

Our borders in The Radiant remain open for new joiners as well. Please, investigate us and find out if we're the right region for you. Telegram my nation, New Bradfordsburg, if you have any questions!

You posted the exact message earlier. You just deleted and posted again to bump it to the top of the page.

I believe that is against the rules. Don't try to game the system.

Not the exact same...I've updated it with a new member and a new status of the Delegate position. However, you are right my friend. I should edit instead of re-posting and will do so from now on.

Thank you for correcting me.

Indeed, and that's not the first time it's been done in this thread.

If that's repeated, the thread will be locked and your region won't get to recruit here.

Please don't gravedig a 2 year old thread just to requote an old post. It'd be one thing if the post was relevant new material, but this is just spam.
