This needed to be said, I like you OOC but forumside you're going to keep spiralling down and down if you keep going on these threads. Think Cora/94 kind of bad for forumside, you aren't there yet but you're fast approaching. Let shit go, move on, and get on with life. It's not worth it. You told me (multiple times) you wouldn't go on the forums etc. and every time I see you're the last post on one of these threads I just cringe because I know what'll I find.

The answer to your question is no they do not. Nobody even calls me by my forum name in KGB when talking to me on the forum. Even in Parliamentary debates and the like nobody calls me Constantine, always Vac.

Bit of an informal announcement here, but I'd like to announce a new appointment to The Command Council.

Leilas, also known as Caras Way, served in the capacity of Colonel in the DEN and then went on to become a well-respected defender in the Red Liberty Alliance and its associate regions. Described by King Alphaks of the DEN as an "infamous defender" and by Eurosoviets of the RLA as an "all-star of any defender line-up", her exploits, benevolent and otherwise, range far and wide throughout NationStates.

The Invaders Command Council is pleased to announce the commission of Leilas as Colonel and her appointment to the Council as Military Advisor in The Invaders. Please join me in congratulating Leilas for her promotion!

For what it's worth, Leilas - and she can feel free to correct me - was better known as an independent defender, being consistently present at update and running with whoever else happened to be up for it. It was only after some time running as an independent that she briefly joined the RLA in what seemed like a juxtaposition of personality and philosophy into an organization with which she seemed to have little in common. Her time in the RLA seemed to be a textbook case of the tail wagging the dog.

Operation Spellbind: Russia Conquered!
5 September 2016

Four weeks ago, three brilliant military strategists, Marshal Lawrence, Major Drunken Conquerors, and Lieutenant Roberts, gathered around a dimly-lit table to discuss a multi-stage operation against Russia. After several days of deliberation, Operation Spellbind was born. The first phase, Operation Fievel, would see the infiltration of Russia on the highest level. The second phase, Operation Honey, would be the first "invasion", aptly named for the honey trap set out for defenders. The third phase, Operation Spellbind, would be the subsequent unveiling and deployment of all divisions of the Legion into Russia.

Operation Fievel:

On 23 August, eight elite operatives of the Invaders Intelligence Service (IIS) executed a quiet and bloodless coup on the Russian government under the guise of well-meant defending. The infiltration operation was named in honor of the Commander Officer's puppet, Mousekewitz. For the next two weeks, these eight agents worked hard to install a native government, commence relations and alliances with other communities, and even defend the region from external threats.

Operation Honey:

On the major update of 5 September, Operation Honey was put into effect as The Kingdom of Great Britain, USSD, and Firehelm joined The Invaders in preparing for Phase 2 of Operation Spellbind. Marshal Lawrence purposefully ordered all troops to jump one whole minute before update, in order to allow for maximum defender participation. Twelve defenders from TITO, The Grey Wardens, and the other more-marginalized organizations moved into Russia and endorsed the delegate, Major Drunken Conquerors, to ensure the "spectacular defeat" of the invaders, 19 to 9. Or so it seemed. As the invaders did not make a hasty retreat, the combined strength of the TITO Expeditionary Force and Defenderdom deployed to Russia to bolster the endorsement count of The Invaders' Executive Officer. As an added plus, thanks to the negotiation efforts of Operation Fievel, Russia's new allies also jumped in to support the native government against the invaders.

Operation Spellbind:

At the next minor update, the "native" delegate of Russia held an endorsement count of 35, courtesy of the establishment of a defender garrison. A few minutes shy of update, Marshal Lawrence and Major Drunken Conquerors deported all 29 defenders to The Rejected Realms and flew the black-and-red standard of The Invaders over Russia, while the remnants of Operation Honey switched over their endorsements to the delegate. As a thank you to defenders for assisting in the conquering of Russia, there are future plans to extend an invitation to both 10000 Islands and The Grey Wardens to join The Invader Network.
