I know this game very well, that's why I said it only works with TP. Saying you have delegates chosen for the next years is illogical, you can even have them chosen, but it doesn't mean things will always go smoothly and predictable, like your incoming delegate makes it look in that post, unless you pull a NPO. If you state otherwise, I won't buy it mainly because I'm not bothered by that, like you guys say you don't care about what others think Other than that, I wish the new leaders of TWP the best luck

There have been many successful multiyear delegate transitions within Nation States over the last twelve years. While the NPO is an extreme in that it has had one delegate for almost half of that time, that does not mean others can not be successful at laying the groundwork for transitions well into the future.

That said, I still think your example of the NPO is somewhat skewed as well. Until recently, Elegarth was Regent of the NPO, then it was a joint position with Feux. Then both were replaced by a singular Regent. All of that implies a shift in plans, which is of course allowed for within the construct.

The West Pacific has Guardians in place and has designated a certain process by which the next three Delegates are ordered. Obviously, that does not mean the order is static or that unforeseen circumstances can not occur, but it does mean that an outsider coming in will have a very difficult job getting into the top spot through internal processes in anything approaching a quick period of time.

This is precisely why nations need to remember where the blanket statement about the "next three delegates" came from. The nation making that statement, while indeed being the designated Delegate, has not yet claimed the seat. And since TWP honors Game supremacy, the Guardian nation making the statement is not yet in a position to declare policy.

TWP is a simple, straight forward place. Sometimes we all let our emotions lead us down complicated paths. But mostly, we remember ourselves again after a good healthy smackdown by our fellow Guardians and region mates.

That's how the system is designed.

I admit I was previously only interested in this thread because URA can't seem to stop allowing himself to be baited. But now that I see this Nepharious plot involves the lowest form of cheating in the NSverse, I am going to remove myself (hoping all of NS does the same). I do not play with forum destroyers or those who think it's fun or harmless. Go find a different game to play.

As a victim to shadoke's momentary idiocy and the spawn of Nephmir's crazy - I gotta say i'm finding it hard to grasp that this will get off the ground and put ANY scratches on TWP.

These people saying it's stupid for him to make such claims when reestablishing himself - lies. Drama gains interest in the organisation keeping it in the front page of gameplay and in everyone's IRCs/Skypes. it gains the interest of the people. It is useful and wouldn't suprise me if the only reason he declared war was for this.
