Albion itself is a medieval past-tech region but we're home to the Galactic Republic RP which is a long and successful Sci-Fi one. We have a few players who are solely in the region for that. Here's the description of it from our RP directory:
A Galactic Republic
The second of our nation type role plays is actually something of a hybrid, called A Galactic Republic. It's a galaxy wide future tech role play, where you can play as a space faring civilisation forging an empire in the stars, or a small group within a nation, or even just an individual trying to get by. This RP is run by a number of experienced players, who have developed their own nations over a couple years of role playing. This RP only recently moved itself to Albion, so much of the history isn't here, but the players are, and they're happy to help others join and get involved. The out of character section is the best place to ask questions, but you're free to browse factbooks and existing threads for information on the state of the galaxy as is.
