Broadly speaking I'd say that the driving force behind TSP's foreign policy has been either Hileville, Glen or myself since 2011. It's not always been the case, and who was directing it varies according to elections, but the three of us were the one's to shape it meaningfully.

It's not a cabal situation like you drama seeking children are trying to suggest as we all had different priorities and ideas, and frankly Glen and myself hate each other far too much to ever be in the same cabal.

None of this is news or a secret, and is public knowledge to anyone who follows TSP elections and politics.

Umm, I wasn't trying to suggest that. But thanks for the unnecessary insult. :P

Yes, but his contribution was, if we're being honest, negligible. The direction he was moving our relations in was reversed when I was elected to my last term after he resigned.

I think that all the GCRs need to get their head on the right way on some sorts of issues. This is just TWPs issue

What direction was that?

An expectation of a more Independent-friendly foreign policy. He only negotiated one treaty during the term, and that treaty created an obligation to raid Warzones. So his influence on the overall direction of TSP foreign affairs was minimal, but discernible, and had he not resigned I'm sure he could've done a lot more.

My election reversed a fledgling trend by the mere fact that I would never engage in a foreign policy that could be considered pro-Independent. I did manage to successful lobby for the removal of the raiding language in the TSP-Spiritus treaty, but that was before he resigned.

And here we have that completely false assumption that democracy is the only right way to organise a region.

An interesting assertion there. It'd be a shame if someone were to test it.

Indeed.

Too bad you can't because a pseudo-representative republic is as close as you can get and even those suffer under the need espouse themselves as more representative than reality presents.

The Pacific simply ignores such pretenses.

Sounds like son American propaganda. This isn't RL politics and those don't quite work out in NS outside of pseudo roleplay.

You were delegate of TNP. Would you have preferred to run a democracy? On a side note Lazarus is a democracy.

Lazarus is not a feeder.

You are correct it is not. It is a sinker, which gives it a significant advantage in that nations are refounded here, saving them from their first impression that this game is nothing but an autocratic nightmare. 8)
