Well I certainly believe you think it's true Cormac. Overall your newspaper always seems to have gotten the inside scoop and told in a truthful manner, and likely your source knows this too. Which is where my personally skepticism comes in. Evidence can be falsified, without seeing it ourselves how do we know your not being manipulated? Maybe your source has something to gain by this story.

In particular I find the notion that Mousebumples is involved hard to believe, as I and many others are under the impression that game mods in general aren't so involved in actual game play or something as controversial as a coup.

Regardless, I remain skeptical. Time will tell, or perhaps this publication will scare off the would be coupers and we'll never know.

And yet when you saw the original article you didn't bother to address your proxy IP address usage, and instead implied that the entire article was a lie. Now we find that you have in fact used proxy IP addresses, so you're now saying they were used for work. But you could have confirmed and explained that when the original article was published. At the very least, your lack of transparency and your attempts to evade are disturbing, and I will note that you haven't actually denied a plot to coup Osiris anywhere that I've seen. Which would be a very Douriaesque thing to do -- dance around the issue without ever outright saying you aren't going to coup.

Cormac if you truly had such a vital intelligence operation running, why would you publicly disclose it? Do the police let everyone in the area know they are running a john sting operation while it is going on? If the feds were investigating a spy do you think they would tip that person off while it was ongoing?
