Oh thank god. For a minute there I was worried this might be an undemocratic region with only you in charge for ever and ever. Thanks for clearing that up.

So when exactly were you planning on forming this new region? I will join. Sounds very democratic and well thought out to me.

As I mentioned in the first post, we'll aim to complete the merger i.e. the formation of the region by December 2017.

Why would any sane delegate give up their regions power to well...you? You are fighting for TNP's delegacy with no success. Now that's a single GCR. Now imagine that fight times 10 - for five other regions. I'm sorry but Nephmir's plan of pulling down TBR makes more sense than this piece of..."Work"

If the region was founded and you weren't the original delegate - people might not look at you side eyed but more like you have no idea about anything on NS. However since you will be first delegate it is obviously a grasp for power. Yeah no.

Best of luck on this but it is a dead end.

@Rifty, how do you know I'm in the race for the TNP delegacy?

In any case, delegates will not give up their power to me per se, I am the WA Delegate, but who leads the region will be all 11 of us.

Than why can't Dark or HMS be delegate? If power or control isn't your aim than id push for HMS to control this (if it ever worked - which it wouldn't). You have done nothing for the Feeders so why would you deserve any spot of leadership? :eyebrow:

And how do i know about your run for TNP delegacy - It's kinda branded to your name. That guy with the crappy campaign against HMS,

Well I will be the first delegate because the idea of the merge came from me. Thus allowing me to become the delegate will help ensure initial regional stability especially during the transition period.

The people you mentioned are more than welcome to run for the the First Minister of the Delegacy, in the 2027 election.

10 Years? You're planning ahead - too far ahead. I'm sorry but 10 years under anyone is impossible - more so under you. Why so long between elections? Most people on NS now won't be around than. If this idea was to take of they would do it themselves and orchestrate it without you. :)

First off - As much as mike and I do not get along in any regard; He is a good leader. He's stuck to his region and worked hard to get there. What you are doing is showing a very very obvious power grab. Failed at being the opposition in TNP - Now you wish to lead all feeders

Secondly There is a huge difference between leading a region of that size and leading a region filled with the entire NS, feeder community.

Why the fuck am i even arguing with you? No one would ever agree to this - Have fun.

Actually, now that I think about it. Charlzilla, how do you propose that the military of The Region is organized? Raider, Defender, Neutral, Independent? Or would there be no military?

Yes, he's right. I would be the First Minister of the Delegacy, in the region. However, there will be annual elections for the post of Second Minister of the Delegacy to Eleventh Minister of the Delegacy. Hence, there will in effect be 11 delegates - myself and two from each of the five former regions to ensure fair initial representation. Don't worry, elections for the First Minister of the Delegacy will occur too, but only after 10 years after the region is established, and subsequently every 5 years after that.

I propose that our army be independent and raider. Note that I had said previously that one of our goals was to eliminate the threat of raiding - the only possible and sustainable way to do, is to create an invincible raiding force of our own.

Omg yes. I think they do need a leader to unite them all and you might not be the leader they want but you are the leader they need.

Darn, does this mean Chester Pearson is going to be the one who unites all the feeders? While I think Chester has potential I don't think he is quite on the level of a New Charlzilla. But if Chester is going to take up this mantle then all the power to him. The world needs heroes.

JAL is the most humble man Zaolat, he would refuse such an appointment because he does feels he does not deserve it. After all, he only took the delegacy of TNP and Osiris because people begged him to. They told him "Someone needs to save the dinosaurs" but Durk refused believing that the hubris of leadership is the root of the worlds evils. After all, why save a few dinosaurs when ambition will kill them all anyway? When Unibot and Cormac heard this they wept openly. It was only with continual encouragement and because someone had told him that Cormac was thinking of betraying his spiritual father to pay for a land plot in Britain (this would become what is now known as Camelot), that Durk assumed the role with a great weariness. He said that if that is what the Dinosaur God wanted, that he could not refuse. Thus, the only way Durk would take up this position is if there was a sign from the dinosaur Gods that this was the right thing to do.
