Cormac Stark elected Pharaoh of Osiris

Cormac Stark, Former Vizier of Osiris, Co-Founder of the OFO, and general flip-flopper was today declared Pharaoh of Osiris after a landslide victory, in which the only people that didn’t vote for Cormac were the ones who abstained from voting entirely. Cormac ran on a platform involving reorganising the Hedjet (cabinet), the creation of a newspaper entitled “The Osiris Oracle”, and Osiris becoming more active on the WA stage as a significant force for National Soverignty.

Cormac has already announced his Hedjet, which has caused no major controversy, however many people have doubts about the selection of Treize Dreizehn (The Dourian Embassy) as Vizier, for obvious reasons. I personally have no major problems with any of Cormac’s ideas, however I lean towards International Federalism myself, so obviously there will be some ideological clashes there. I wish Cormac all the best as Pharaoh.

Lone Wolves United Forum Destroyed

The forums of the infamous raider region Lone Wolves United was recently destroyed by the second highest-ranking member of the organisation, Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds. The reasons behind the attack remain to be seen. Venico (of Brotherhood of Malice, Asgard, and Osiris fame) has released a log hinting towards a co-conspirator to the attacks, which can be viewed here.

We here at the Applebanian post unequivocally condemn any acts of forum destruction and offer our deepest condolences towards Evil Wolf and the rest of Lone Wolves United.

Republic Alliance destroyed by Founder

The Republic Alliance, a growing and developing region formerly home to many nations has been destroyed by its own founder. The founder has deleted his own posts, ejected all nations other than himself and another nation, altered the WFE to say “It was fun well it lasted but this game as just gone down hill!” (sic), suppressed every post on the RMB, closed all the embassies, and passworded the region. More information shall surface shortly.

Region Spotlight: The Global Syndicate

From being there only a couple of days, I can already say that the Global Syndicate is a bloody amazing region, and one of the most fast-paced political regions in the game. The entire region is based around its three-clause laws, known as Axioms, which you need to pass in order to do basically anything: to inaugurate a leader, for example. This can be exploited to lead revolutions and cause the entire region to turn upside-down: One day you could have a carefully planned political hegemony, the next it could all come crashing down. While the summer lull hit the region hard, we are now returning to activity, and would love it if you joined!

The flag flies no more.

Riftend, founder of the more than 300-nation strong Coalition of Freedom, an up-and-coming UCR, has been deleted by Nationstates Moderation. Circumstances around the deletion remain unclear, though some have speculated that his deletion had something to do with his controversial recruitment tactics in telegramming every WA nation in the game once every month using TG stamps.

The populace of the Coalition of Freedom, from a glance at the typically fast-moving RMB, seem to be slightly worried about this incident, because, well, it's a founder CTE, however the reaction seems to be more of one of confusion.. Nephmir, founder of the infamous Eternal Knights, can be seen urging people to keep calm. I, for one, personally feel that at least someone is going to go for it, just for the glory of dethroning a 60-endorsement delegate. They'll probably fail, but they almost certainly will try.

AMMENDUM: Sicarian recruiters sent a mass recruitment telegram to every nation in the Coalition of Freedom, and Nephmir has retaliated with a mass telegram of his own, as the regions involved enter a recruitment bombing war. Nephmir has issued a statement saying that he and Riftend had plans for this eventuality, and will declare Martial Law and assume control of the region if Riftend isn't heard from in 8 hours. Meanwhile, Republic of South Carolina, current WA delegate of the Coalition of Freedom, has declared himself Prophet (leader) of the Coalition of Freedom in Riftend's absence.

Probably not xD But that's a lot of resources, even for several orgs, especially since we're all spread thin already.

EDIT: And it sees Neph has sent Sicarius a mass TG in response to mine to CoF....but mine was all nice! I expressed condolences, and offered my own home as a safe refuge! His is jut generic

Riftend and I discussed what would happen if he were to be deleted again, and he said that if he was DoS or anything of that nature that I am to "declare martial law" if needed, and assume command of the region, hence one of the reasons why CoF's forums are based on TEK's and why Noble holds a high command within the region. Therefore, recruiting from CoF is like recruiting from my own region, and the TEK counter-recruitment policy applies.

If Riftend is not heard from within the next 8 hours we will be taking further action and initiative.
