No idea if this has been covered already because I don't feel like reading all the comments in this thread, but I did not endorse NK, I tried to get UDL not to endorse NK, and when conferring with Mcmasterdonia we both agreed it was stupid to endorse NK and the NPA didn't endorse him either. Don't conflate me with Tim's and Sovreignry's idiotic decision, please.

Milograd can also kindly step down off his high horse. It's literally absurd for him to complain about biased journalism from anyone else; it's what he does.

Quite.

Notwithstanding his spurious claims about me and my work, I'm not sure whether or not Cormac is trying to be ironic by adamantly criticizing someone about hypocrisy.

This is Cormac, after all. :p

I can confirm, from the logs I have seen of that discussion in cabinet, and from my knowledge of event since, that Cormac was against the decision to push NK to the Delegacy.

Not once have I said different. What has changed is his opinion of mine and Tim's decision to order the jump.

What I don't get is why Cam an Mahaj refuse to answer what cams position within the UDL Is. Is it that big of a deal whether he isn't? :P

A change in UDL leadership certainly couldn't make things any worse than they are in the UDL. Advocating for greater GCR influence is not something people want to hear about, for those who held suspicions that that's what the UDL has felt for years... it's confirmation. Furthermore, the fact that this stuff leaks out of the UDL still is pretty embarrassing. It erodes at any sort of confidence or the sense that there is quality within the organization when it leaks worse than a sieve.

I have no knowledge of what is going on in the UDL, but it seems very likely to me that if the nation was revived the UDL want people to talk about it. It'd take a lot of spinning to make that look like a leak. Unless I'm missing what else is 'leaked' all I see are rumors past that.

On another note, it was good to see you're doing okay Frak.

I also find it hilarious that, as far as I've noticed, nobody has yet confirmed whether Cam is indeed still the UDL foreign affairs guy. Twice, that question has been asked. I would have thought answering it would be a simple y/n?

Tano: hearts are supposed to thump not sploosh

Lol, this kinda reminds me of the "What will Rob Ford do next lottery?".

What will the UDL do next?

Most Likely

- Make more jokes about Cormac
- Say they should be influencing more UCRs
- Get into a harsh fight with TITO
- Get into a harsh fight with FRA
- Have an embassy closed
- Make even more jokes about Cormac

Least Likely

- Explain who is in their cabinet.

And the least likely for the 3rd week running is...

- Regularly defend.

Maybe we like it that nobody knows who are MoFA is. I think it's kind of brilliant. If Mahaj came up with that, he needs another medal. :P

I for one endorse Major Major Major Major for our next MoFA!

You're more than aware how outraged I was by the decision, which to be fair was more Tim's decision that you agreed to with only a minute or so to spare. Most people had already followed Tim's order by then anyway. I minimized the blame because it wasn't productive, it would have hurt both of your feelings, and it would have made the UDL look bad. But I'm not going to decline to place the blame where it belongs when I'm blamed for it in this thread, especially since I'm one of the handful of people who didn't endorse NK.

I never blamed you. I specifically said you did not endorse NK. What the fuck more do you want? We were told by The Government to endorse NK. If we hadn't it's "UDL doesn't care for GCR sovereignty." If we do it's "UDL is filled with idiots." Damned if we do, damned if we don't.

[01:42] <Cormac> I apologize for being snippy with you and others. I need to learn not to spout off when stuff like this happens, and I think you've done amazingly well at handling this situation.
[01:42] <Cormac> I've made it very clear to Tim that I don't blame him for this and I hope he believes that. Almost no one believed Biyah and NK were behind this so it was hardly all his fault.

I'm not saying you blamed me for anything, but I was associated with the decision to endorse NK earlier in this thread and I was responding to that.

There's no contradiction between what I said in that log and what I'm saying now. I was sincere in my apology for being snippy, I did think you did well at handling the situation despite making the wrong call (you kept a level head, you didn't freak out after it was clear it was a coup, etc.), and I don't think Tim was entirely to blame. Others were duped too, including Quadrimmina who was Vice Delegate of Osiris at the time. My point is simply that you and Tim were responsible for UDL's decision to endorse NK, and I brought this up to correct the assertion that I was partially responsible for that decision when in fact I wasn't.
