This is no exception.
Alas, defender ideologues have sought to commandeer terms, historically 'raider' and now 'imperialist', to refer to anyone who dares disagree with any aspect of their world-view, as opposed to using these terms precisely to recognise the traditions of the different regions which these categorisations describe.

If you're going to do the usual imperialist "complain about something completely trivial and ask for Unibot to resign over it" schtick with the hopes of deterring discussion away from anything substantial, at least be accurate about your pedanticism.

The added emboldening is mine.
You may not have said the exact words 'McMasterdonia is an imperialist', but you made the implication he is engaging in activities specific to imperialists.
It is clear that you think that it is inherently 'imperialist' for an individual to take issue with the many inaccuracies which litter this paper.
Hence the unwarranted use of the word 'imperialist' as a term of abuse for labelling those that disagree with you, which is my objection.

At no point did I say that he was an imperialist. All I said about imperialism was that something he was doing was like something an imperialist would do. =

I am well aware that IDU is a member of WALL. The list of WALL members was not exclusive. At no point in the article did I say it was an exclusive list.

Like these chumps...Alvalero wrote:The only date I actually paid attention to was the one I pointed out earlier. So much for this being a masterpiece of journalism!
But really Uni either properly proofread or ask others to do so before publishing. Then you can blame them for this type of thing!
I seriously don't give a fuck. Not one fuck is given. Yes, April comes after March. Good for you, you own a calender. But what fucking good would a proofreader be to catch such a trivial mismatch of ordering, when I still have to write 1,500 words, so that nobody - not a single person will discuss it, except to critique the fucking chronology of the dates. For you and your cabal, it's good fun and an exercise in a healthy dose of passive-aggression to read our works thoroughly to nit-pick about dates and the ordering of this or that or to complain about some factoid that wasn't included which you would have complained if it was included, with the hope that this hurts the legitimacy of our newspaper and upsets us, but for us, it's just a slap in the face after spending our evening writing articles for people to read and discuss.

If you only read the GP forums your brain will rot because of the crap throwing. You need to also be involved in the regions themselves, that's gameplay as well I've learnt that from my short time here.
