Mordor

One does not simply walk into Mordor.

Mordor is one of the largest regions in the game. If you haven't created a puppet in the last two months you probably won't of heard of us. The region has one of the most corrupt, power-hungry and fascinating constitutions and political environments in the game, truly befitting of its name, and Orkish origins.

If you like corruption, political backstabbing, cut-throat ruthlessness and a desire to reach the top, Mordor is a region for you.

Two camps have emerged in recent weeks, one exploiting every avenue and flaw in the constitution to hoard power for the betterment of Mordor, while another to rid the region of the stench of corruption.

Mordor is a home for everyone, from friendly banter on an RMB, answering issues, all the way to becoming the White Wizard Saruman himself, Mordor is open to all, except Hobbits. Strictly no Hobbits allowed.

I'd happily join raider regions (and i have) for the community. You don't need to join them purely for military gameplay.

I'm too tied up in Raiding to be involved in a Defender Region, however.

Unibot would never join TNI (even if they let him) for the Culture, and the same no doubt holds true for a number of other prominent defenders. Its a matter of the regional culture.

We couldn't join TNI. We're treasonous. TNI and UDL are "at war".

There is a difference, raiding is firmly entrenched into TNI's culture and I don't think the same can be said of Mordor about defending. If you're interested sign up and if it doesn't work out then you could always just leave.

Thanks Feux. Mordor is designed to be something a little bit different.

As for the comments on defending, Mordor doesn't take itself too seriously in that regard, I find the thought of being defended by Mordor ironic and light hearted fun. As a player I prefer an aligned military, but certainly the Forces of Mordor are not the prime or even secondary focus of the region.

I'll have you know some of my best friends are hobbits. There was Tom the hobbit, Freddy the hobbit, Richard the hobbit, and don't forget Riuyhuiwaniwaqueremarayatwerfaghul the hobbit!

Needless to say, I killed them all, but they were good hobbits nonetheless.

In other news, Cerian Quilor has decided to stop by in the region. We can report he does seem to be enjoying it so far. Whether that is a good selling and advertising point is a completely different matter.

The Nazgul Council of Mordor has approved a measure today Declaring War Against the region of A Reach Too Far.

In a Council vote with five (5) Nazgul present and supporting the measure, The Dark Lord Sauron's war efforts against A Reach Too Far now carry the official weight of Law and the support of the Nazgul.

May the Black Hordes of Mordor sweep over the lands of A Reach Too Far for their vainity and foolishness in questioning the Supremacy of Mordor.

Declaration of War on A Reach Too Far

The Nazgul of Mordor hereby enacts the following legislation in response to the recent declaration of war on Mordor by A Reach Too Far.

APPALLED by A Reach Too Far’s recent declaration of war on Mordor,

REALIZING that the declaration of war was unprovoked,

DENOUNCING A Reach Too Far for being an aggressor against peaceful regions,

WANTING to punish A Reach Too Far for their brash actions,

The Nazgul of Mordor authorize the use of military force against A Reach Too Far and its allies and formally declare war against A Reach Too Far.

All lies. One of their members sent a puppet to us and left a day later. We had gotten word Mordor had planned to declare war on us, so we decided to be preemptive. Mordor is a lot of things, but being the victim is not one of them.

Not to mention the other 2 players you asked to join from Mordor a couple of weeks earlier. Aule requested an apology, you were not forthcoming and instead declared war upon Mordor.
